Unfortunately I have been ill during the holidays and I was still not completely recovered when I had my first competition of 2019 in Budapest.
Withal, I still fenced a great in de poules. I had a strong poule and still managed to win 4 out of 6 matches. I won my first elimination, but because of my physical state I couldn’t win the second elimination.
I only made it to the tableau of 64, but to be honest, I did not have high expectations for this competition. I was still recovering and I did a better job than I could have hoped for.
Next stop: Segovia, Spain
