A place at the top 16 is a decent result, and even though I am the first Dutch saber fencer to get such a result, I am eager for more. Since I moved to Budapest, I have made lots of progress. Fencing with the the best of the best and training with Benjamin has been key to this success. I have grown incredibly much during my time here. And that’s why I reckon a 15th place as great for sure, but it’s only just the beginning.
I would be lying saying that The pandemic has not affected me in the past year. But I fought my way through and am back on track. Next year will be difficult as a first year senior, but I accept the challenge 
I want to thank Shahram Massoumi who has sponsored me in the last seasons, and will keep doing that for the next one:) I also want to thank my past trainers, Leo Sannen and Arash Hosseini, who have been significantly important for my career.
But special thanks to Benjamin Bódy who got me where I am now and hopefully further. Köszönöm szépen:)
