30 Oct Silver in London
At the European Cadet Circuit tournament in London, I became 5th in the individual competition. I started the day off quite well and was ranked first after the poules. I fenced my with to the tableau of 8, but lost that match because I was not as focussed as I was at the beginning of the day. This resulted to a nice 5th place.
The next day was the team competition, there I fenced in a mixed team with girls from Italy, Greece and Romania. We were a strong team and made it all the way to the finals. There we fenced against Bulgaria, which had the winner of yesterday within. We were really close to gold, but got silver instead.
I was super happy with my fencing that day. I had really improved compared to the day before. But more importantly, we had a lot of fun with the team.
